The matters and requirements regarding the maintenance and upkeep of both turning and grinding machines | WUXI RUIEN TECHNOLOGY CO.,LTD
1. Startup of the new machine: (Please read the user manual carefully)
1.1 Ensure the levelness is stable. Adjust as per the instructions. The deviation should not exceed 0.04/1000 millimeters. Do not use cement to build up the surrounding of the bed to prevent the deformation of the bed guideways.
1.2 Remove the red fixed plate on the machine bed.
1.3 According to the requirements of the manual, connect the wires in accordance with the on-site power supply environment. After the wiring is completed, it should be checked by professionals for the voltage, which should not exceed the rated voltage by ±10%.
1.4 Lubrication of Machine Tools
1.4.1 The main oil reservoir of the bed frame should be filled with No. 32 anti-wear hydraulic oil.
1.4.2 Inject 150-grade anti-slip guide rail oil into the guide rail oil tank (a bucket of the oil is provided in the accessory box of the machine tool, and it should not be added to the spindle).
1.4.3 Inject No. 2 spindle oil into the grinding head.
1.4.4 Add No. 2 spindle oil to the headstock (No. 2 spindle oil is not required for machines without internal circle function).
1.5 Cleaning: Remove all rust oil from each component of the machine tool.
1.6 Upper Belt: Put on the grinding head and the bed head belt in the machine tool accessory box.
1.7 After the machine is powered on, when the hydraulic oil pump is started for the first time, it is necessary to immediately check whether the oil pump is rotating in the direction indicated by the arrow. If the direction is opposite, the power supply should be cut off immediately and the connection sequence of the power cord should be adjusted to make the rotation direction of the motor consistent with the arrow direction.
1.8 When starting the grinding wheel motor, it is not allowed to start directly. Instead, the point-start method should be adopted. Observe the observation window in front of the grinding head and wait until no obvious bubbles are discharged from the window before the main shaft can run continuously.
2. Every day:
2.1 Before starting the machine tool:
2.1.1 Lubricants should be injected into the storage tank and at all lubrication points as per the regulations.
2.1.2 Check whether all electrical switches are in the zero position and whether all wiring is correct.
2.1.3 Check whether all the fastening screws and protective covers are loose; if so, tighten them.
2.1.4 Ensure that there is sufficient coolant for the machine tool.
2.2 After the machine tool is started:
2.2.1 Check whether the pressure of the workpiece is normal;
2.2.2 Check if there is any oil in the oil window.
2.2.3 The machine tool guideways should be well lubricated.
2.2.4 After the machine has been idle running for 10 minutes, it can start to work normally.
2.2.5 Before starting the semi-automatic grinding cycle, all the knobs should be adjusted as per the regulations. After several empty-run cycles, the grinding cycle can be initiated.
2.2.6 Before stopping the machine tool, turn off the coolant first and let the grinding wheel run idle for a period of time (about 5 minutes). Only then can the grinding wheel motor be stopped.
2.2.7 After work, all parts of the machine tool should be wiped clean to prevent rust and corrosion.
3. Weekly:
3.1 Replacing the coolant for the machine tool. After thoroughly cleaning the dirt inside the cooling box in Jing, new coolant can be injected.
3.2 After work on weekends, thoroughly clean all parts of the machine tool. The machined surfaces should be coated with anti-rust oil or lubricating oil, and the power plug of the machine tool should be unplugged.
3.3 Each motor should be kept clean.
4. Quarterly:
4.1 Replace the lubricating oil for the grinding wheel spindle.
4.2 Replace the lubricating oil in the oil sump of the headstock (applicable only to the headstock with sliding bearings).
5. Every six months:
5.1 Replace the hydraulic oil in the bed oil tank. During the replacement process, it is strictly forbidden to wipe the oil tank with cotton cloth. It is better to use a fine cloth or foam plastic for cleaning.
5.2 Clean the radiator of the hydraulic system (provided on high-precision machine tools).
5.3 Check the integrity of all electrical components.
6. Every year:
6.1 The bearings of the machine tools and motors need to be removed for cleaning. After applying lubricating grease, they should be reinstalled. If the bearings are damaged, new ones should be replaced.
6.2 When replacing each fuse, new fuse wires of the same current rating must be used for replacement. It is strictly forbidden to increase or modify the current rating at will.
6.3 Check all vulnerable components. Those that are prone to damage should be replaced.
6.4 When replacing the copper sintered filter in the grinding head, apply 402 glue to bond it with the filter body before use.
Note: If you find that the filter is clogged, you should replace it in time.
